  • Mini Flight Report -Thai Air Asia X-

I flew from Narita to Suvarnabhumi using Thai AirAsia X.

Thai AirAsia X (XJ) Quick Overview

Best For: Travelers seeking the best balance of cost and convenience to Thailand.

Hub: Bangkok (Don Mueang – DMK), ideal for easy domestic transfers.

Routes: Direct flights from Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Sapporo, and Sendai (New!).

Key Features: Affordable fares with flexible options like the “Quiet Zone” or the luxury “Premium Flat Bed.”

The departure terminal was Narita Airport Terminal 2.
Perhaps because it’s an LCC, the boarding gate was a bit far away.

There were instructions to open the windows during takeoff and landing, and to keep them closed during the flight.

There was an in-flight shopping service and exclusive onboard merchandise.
The in-flight meal options included pizza, pad thai, and even items like Boba tea ―menus you don’t typically see on regular flights.

Seat selection and meals are all paid services.
There was no in-flight entertainment, but the availability of power outlets made for a comfortable journey.

Currently, Thai AirAsia X operates out of Don Mueang Airport. If you get the chance, why not give it a try?
